The Department of Pharmacy at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Yang Ming Campus) invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
- About the position
The Department of Pharmacy (https://pharmacy.nycu.edu.tw/) at the Yang Ming Campus of the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) is a newly established pharmacy school in Taiwan (since 2016). The Department currently has 180 Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) students, 30 graduate students (Master level) and 11 faculty members. The new faculty member will be part of a faculty group committed to excellence in research, education and innovation.
The successful candidate will be expected to obtain external funding to conduct high quality research and education in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. In addition, the person to be hired will have teaching responsibilities within the Department at the graduate and undergraduate level. This individual will also be expected to engage in scholarly activities and participate in outreach and service activities.
- Qualifications:
- The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a Pharmacy-related field.
- The applicant must have a minimum of one-year postdoctoral training or independent research experiences.
- Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English.
